The OACP Certificate
Think of this as your first official step toward a career in policing. The OACP Certificate is a standardized pre-screening tool used by many police services across Ontario. It helps assess whether you’re ready to move forward in the recruitment process and shows that you have met key baseline requirements.
To earn your certificate, you will complete online assessments, a fitness log and medical documentation.
Once you have submitted everything and passed the required tests, you will receive your certificate. It’s valid for one year and can be used to apply to any participating police service in Ontario.
